Ethos is an all natural body care brand driven by sustainability. The brand prides itself on its biodegradable packaging made from vegetable-based plastics. The products are simple and natural, with scents from plant and fruit extracts, no artificial dyes, and a goal to minimize the number of ingredients. Ethos targets an environmentally conscious audience, ages 28–43, who care in researching and selecting the products they allow in their homes.
The Ethos brand is designed to reflect its dedication to simplicity and transparency. The minimalist typographic labels proudly display the list of ingredients on the front in large type, differentiating from most brands that attempt to hide them in the fine print. The earthy, pastel color palette gives a soft and welcoming personality to the clear bottles and undyed products. The colors also correspond to the ingredients, connecting scent lines across product categories.
