The brand pushes past the common caricature of Eastern European culture, by conveying the true warm and affable spirit of the region. The brand needed a bright and engaging packaging systems that would stand out on the shelves of specialty grocers and ethnic markets
Pechka, named after the large brick oven found in traditional Russian homes, is committed to providing authentic food with a welcoming, light-hearted feel. Labels are adorned with a lively, bright color palette inspired by Eastern European folk art. Illustrations of ingredients are layered to create spirited patterns for product labels. Transparent packaging is used throughout the brand to showcase the colorful dishes and remove barriers for new consumers who may be intimidated by Eastern European cuisine.
